There were three ways for me to get a topic to research In this case, i don't had to worry about selecting a topic; then my teacher gave me some guidelines for choosing the topic. i had to do some reading on the general topic and got an overview. After doing that, i wouldl be ready to focus my topic into a reasonable size that i can handle. I had to first think that what is my interest and related to my course. of course i found that linguistic and history are related to my research. so i chose my topic name after some revision and called it : liguistics or bible is righ؟ hittites arians or judes?

How did you select your topic? What factors did you find interesting about it? The first steps for research studies are selecting a subject area and define our topic. A topic should related to our subject, ask a question, show a cause and effect, or make a comparison. As I am student of English literature I preferred to choose my topic from the history of the English literature because I had enough sources about it such as some books and essays and I was familiar with the internet websites about it. In addition I believe during research process each student needs to consult with expert opinions since my topic was in the field of the literature I was sure that I can acquire enough information from my English professors. Another reason that I chose this topic for my research , was my ability to making a question about it and I could narrow it and finally I was able to argue about it. The most important reason for me regarding to selection of my topic was my area of interest since in the history of English literature I could find interesting and meaningful topics I chose my topic in this field . The last reason for selecting my topic was to considering two important factors: First, how much do I have time for my study research? Second, how long my research papers should be? Since I had not enough time I tried to select topic which I can to explain it generally. At last I reviewed the history of the England literature then I found different literary schools which have been come on the stage since 16 th century and each of them has brought variation of the styles in the British literature but among them romanticism was very important era because it was not only a revolution in the English literature but also a golden age for great writers and poets to create such unique works. Therefore I select romanticism for my topic.

Selecting a topic is a critically important part of the research process. I spend weeks for selecting my topic. At first I had some question about topic that I want to choose it. Such as: What do I want to understand better? What am I personally interested in investigating some depth? What do I look forward to learning about? What particular subjects attract me? Then I consider to my around like my university, my family and people that I know them, people that attempt for their life, they wake up in the morning and doing their work until evening, some are doing their work in their office, some of them are studying at their school & university, some of them are teachers but some of them stay at their home and so on. What is the cause for doing their works? If we better think about this subject understand that there is a purpose for this attempt. Every one of us has some purpose in our life and for reach to them need to attempt. So I decided better understand this issue. I consider to my friend in university, see some of my friends studying your course very well but some of them not doing it, so I attracted to the cause of such action. Especially what is cause to why do people learn a second language? considering it I decided to know learning second language I search in the Internet and with study some articles understand that all us should have a goal in our life and for this purpose everybody needs motivation. Everybody needs to have a reason for action. So for answer to this question that is in my mind, it is better that I understand what is definition of motivation? And at the end I choose this topic for my research paper:
THE AFFECT OF MOTIVATION ON LEARNING SECOND LANGUAGE

if a person want to select a tpic usually goes to find a topic which is more intrested in it and have more information about it.i myself chose the topic which i wanted to know more about it.i went throgh it to know more and i became so eager to know the reasons and the factors and the result of my topic.in fact it is difficult to collect the ideas about my topic from all of the famous people who gave oponion about my topic.and it is so important to read all ideas and i myself give idea about it.
i think that the most important thing that we should noticed that is to be interested in the subject because its help us to go and find all the parts about that subject .....so i go to my interesting by the help of one of my relative .... I have always noticed in children's behavior and speaking, I enjoyed their talking and playing, but there was a boy who was 5 year old and could not speak very well, I had always thought that he has a problem in talking and hearing but it was not so. He was healthy but his only problem was that he learnt speaking when he was 5 and a half year old. When he was 2 years old he used sentences with just words. I remember him narrating his birthday party to me like this: "auntie!! me, mama, papa, stairs, down, down, down, down, down (there were 5 stairs from his home to his grandmother's home), cake, candle, huraaaaaaaa!!!!". I felt sorry for him. Why he couldn’t talk like the other children? and this event encourage me to go and find the process that each child has to leran the language .

When I choose this lesson for new term, my mind became busy with this subject that I should have a research project for it .so I decided to choose one topic for it. Most of the time I thought about that especially at nights in my bed. First I though about interesting subjects which were I interested in it. at the same time I wrote my topic in the notebook which I choose for my records wrote my brainstorming & free writings about those subjects & my ideas about each one . Some tropics came to my mind, what is the effect of learning two or three language on mind or intellect? Dose it has make intellect increase or better? So I decided to have some research about it? I had some researches in internet but I couldn’t find enough data about it with good information about it when I browsed that little data .so I had to change my topic, then I started again to think as a result I decided to have research about THE EFFECT OF AGE ON LEARNING SECOND LANGUAGE & the best period of age for learning second language. in fact what is the proper I choose this topic I found some backgrounds about it for example my first problem when I entered at university I found some big problems with my course especially when my professors was talking in English & I couldn’t understood their words & my classmates fluent talking which caused for the first I became frustrated and disappointed about it so some questions which are asked my relatives friends , friends about the age & its relationship with learning second language. Yes, in fact those questions were my motivation for choosing the research project topic. So I decided to find the answer of those questions & actually those were caused to I interested in this subject. at least I research in internet & I collect some good data & I found some books about the topic when I read them I found almost my answer now I survey my data to start for writing of the project.
the subject for a research paper should have three demands;1- it must examinea significant issue. 2- it must address a knowledgeable reader and carry that reader to another plateau of knowledge.3- it must have a serious purpose one that demand analysis of the issue, argue from a posion, and explain complex details. three steps help me to topic selection; 1- reflect on my exprince for a topic that i gain knowledge in the class.2- talk with other people because collaborative learning can help me of the issues.3- think about my subject and discover ideas by listing issues, asking question and free writing.I can find some sources about my subject in the internet.I choose this subject because I have this cource in literary schools too.
I use the Public Access catalog which is a computer version of the card catalog files. It will guide us quickly from general subjects to subtopics and, finally,to specific books. And also I search on Encyclopedia Article. An encyclopedia contains not only an alphabetical list of topics but also in_depth discussions can trigger our own ideas. We can also use educational (bilingualism in the classroom) topics or social issues (the high cost of shoplifting)topics.
Firstly, I use my personal experience and try to find a topic in which I have interest. In my opinion having interest is an important factor which helps us to continue our research more correctly and convincing. Then, I consult with my friends for ideas and topics that they think there is a need for investigation. Next, I try to narrow my topic down in order to continue my search. For, without limiting the topic searching is impossible. Finally, I try to find some journals, articles, and books about my specific topic. In my opinion one of the important factors in selecting a topic of research paper is interest. Interest is the first motivation that guides us to search. So, we should select a topic which we like it. If we do not have interest and curiosity about our topic we cannot search more properly. Then, our research topic should have relevance to the needs of society. It should be specific and help to solve the problems of our society or help the improvement of our environment. Next, our research topic should be manageable. Manageability is another important factor that refers to availability of facilities. It means we should have enough time, financial support, and sources to complete and manage our research. Finally, we should narrow our topic down, limit it. For, a broad topic is more ambiguous, and vague. Without limiting the topic, we cannot do search.
Selecting a research topic isn’t easy. I spent many times thinking about my topic. At first I chose a topic about ‘how a child’s mind grows? But my professor said that my topic is very difficult and needs a lot of time .Therefore I changed my topic ,but I tried to choose a research that was about children. My topic needs to be narrow and focused enough to be interesting ,and broad enough for me to find enough information .According to consultation that I had with my professor ,she guided me a lot about finding a good topic. Every time I had a question in my mind about finding a method, a program,…about teaching alphabet to pre school children, especially about teaching to my niece. She is 5 years old. I want to teach her to recognize each letter in the alphabet. But I know there is no one way to teach a child. Every one learns differently. Some kids can learn from songs, some from games, some from art,…and it is time consuming, I must spend one day introducing to her a new letter. I just have to find the way to interest her about the letters, but I must notice that she’s only 5, many 5 years olds don’t know their letters yet. That is what kindergarten is for. I love children and I like to be a teacher of a kindergarten. I hope base on this research that I started, I experience many thing about teaching to preschool children and learn many methods. May be in future I’ll discover a way or find some new idea about teaching to babies as soon as possible, before 1 years old, wow its fantastic.

i think we can select a person, a persons work or a specific things to study. we can use current events or science and...for our topic. we can select our topic by speculating about the subject and discover ideas by listing isses, asking questions, free writing and other techniques, also we can talk with other people because collaborative learning can broaden our vision and we can use our personal experience for chose a topic that touches our life-style or career.

It goes without saying that finding a topic which in appearance may seem an easy career is one of the difficult tasks during research writing, because in my opinion a good and suitable topic would help us to be much more organized. In order to find a topic I have done so many things, first of all I consider the areas I have been interested in; for example by reviewing my diaries and journals and also the pieces I have cut from the magazines , journals and newspapers , I found that “literature “, especially writers biographies are one of my favorites , although I have chosen another topic which I was interested in that too, and I have done so many researches on that - consulting with my teachers, reading so many books ,articles in journals , internet, interviewing with people who were specialist in that course, watching some films related to that and so many other things – I learned that the sources available are not enough for doing my research , because they weren’t somehow scientific, so I tried another topic which is doing research on one of my favorite writers biographies, before that I consulted with my professors about the topic and became sure about the availability and validity of sources available and then I went to some other universities and read some thesis related to my topic , also I consult with that universities’ professors, in fact their comments and ideas helped me to confirm my topic, then I search internet to find some articles and at the end I went to so many libraries and use the books available there. The factors I found interesting about my topic , at first is that it is related to the course I am studying now and it can help me to have more information about doing literary research in future, on the other hand it is very exciting , because before this I was just read biographies just to have an overall information about the life of someone, his/her style of writing and the things like this, but now I have to read detailed parts of someone’s life and this helps me to be introduced to a newer world , in fact to have journey with so many ups and downs and become experienced and at the end a different person.
There are so many ways to find a topic for the research paper. Of course at first there are so many topics in our mind, but we should select one of them which we could finish that in less than 2 months. First of all in order to find a topic I took a look on some of the short stories, dramas and poems that I've read before and reviewed some criticism which I had about them. I studied some of the literary schools, some criticisms on the dramas and poems. What can be the topic of my research paper was the question which was all the times in my mind. I asked one of my literature professors to help me and she offered me that reading the thesis of the MA English Literature students not only would help me to find a good topic but it can also be a good source; therefore, I went to Tehran University's library, searched the name of the papers on which English Literature student's of MA worked and selected some of them to read. Symbolism in Yeats' poetry was the name of the one of the papers. Since I've studied some of Yeats' poems which were symbolic, and I knew a little about symbolism, this could be a good topic for me; more over I like this kind of symbolic writings. Copying from the pages was forbidden so I could write just 2 pages. I searched in the internet and I found some information about symbolism, Yeats' symbolism and his poetry. In order to find more sources I went to international library which one of my professors introduced me before. I think that is the best library. There were so many books related to English literature and we could copy from them too. After a little searching I found that writing about this topic needs more studying and time! So I spoke with my research methodology professor and decided to change my topic.

"The smart researcher starts with something he or she wants to understand better." Susan M. Hubbuch Writing Research Papers Across the Curriculum The first step to select my topic was to find something which I like to search and find. So, I investigated in my interests to find the appropriate topic. I believe to be successful in the research process; the topic of the research should be interesting for the researcher. As I am interested in literature, I chose a literary topic. In addition, I'm familiar with the material connected to my topic. Hubbuch says:" one way to take some of the fear and anxiety out of the need to commit yourself to a topic is to see your topic as a "point of departure" rather than an "end point". After all, I found a question in my mind that I am interested to know more about it. Beside, I want to spend my time and energy learning and criticizing more about literary subjects.
I have studied in a book on research paper that “ the subject for a research paper must meet 3 demands : 1. It must examine a significant issue 2. It must address a knowledge reared and carry that reader to another plateau of knowledge 3. It must have a serious purpose , one that demands analysis of the issue , argues from a position , and explains complex details. And I have read in another article that “ you need not abandon a favorite topic , just be certain that you give it a serious , scholarly perspective. I think my first topic “ The effects of childhood fears on children learning “ does not meet this demands completely but it has two features that make me work on it. First , it may be useful for the parents such as my own sister whose child has a kind of fear. Second , my own interest in study of childhood psychology. And in the other one , my second topic “ naturalistic features in Hardy’s Mayor of Casterbridge “ the first reason for choosing such a topic is my field of study , literature. I am supposed to do it for one of my course , literary schools. So I have decided to combine a topic of personal interest with some aspect of my academic studies.

Last mount I read a book about laugh and effect of it on the people .it was an interesting book for me.it was about some people that have a lot of problem.for example ,they were sick and they do not have a lot of time for living. So they try to enjoy from their life.they watch comedy movie and do another things that was interesting .after that their situation change and they become cure ,because of laugh .so I think laugh is a good topic foe my research .i see a lot of people that are sad because of poverty and disease .i think they are sad because they only think about their shortage .and they do not think about a lot of things that god give to them .so they are not happy.in this research I find when we are laughing ,we think better and do not have stress to do our work.and then we can think good and positive. So we become successful. I find that all of people don’t like to have a communication with depress people .so it was my motivation to find this subject to encourage people to laugh, if they want to have a good life.
1.Choosing a topic from my personal experiences,a topic that touches my life style or career.I combine a topic of personal interest with some aspect of my academic studies. 2.Talking with other people in my university and community for ideas and topics that need investigation. 3.Speculate about the subject and discover ideas by listening issues, asking questions, freewriting and other techniques. At some point, I need to sit back, relax, and use my imI choose my topic through several steps. agination to contemplate the issues. Out of meditation may come topics and subtopics worthy of investigation. 4.Free writing:to free writing,I focus on a topic and write whatever comes to my mind. I do not worry about grammar, style, etc. 5.Going to the liberary for explanatory reading in refrence books, biographies,or periodicals.Reading carefuly the title of article and recording key words. 6.Examining a books index to discover a subject. Most books contain an index that will list alphabeticaly the books contents, I could freely choose my topic from that. PART2 I choose my topic "The effect of crying on the body"because it is interestingfor me and many people.it has a serious purpose, one that demands analysis of the issues, argues from a position, and explain s complex details.
When I started to look for a topic for my research paper, I just decided to choose the one which is interesting to me and not boring. Then I began to think about a topic in which I am learned enough because I did not have much time to spare on learning new things. Then I thought about the sources that I needed for the research and it made me choose a topic which enabled me to find the necessary sources easily. So that I chose a topic that does not make me troubles when I am going to find the sources. After that when I almost found an issue to search for, I started to restrict it in some ways. First of all, I limited it to a particular age group. Then I limited it to a particular environment and moreover to an ethnic background. In addition to this, I restricted the relevant topic to a special sort of approach and methodology. Therefore I chose a topic that has the characteristics that are mentioned below: • It addresses my instructor's assignment. • It is manageable and narrowly defined, one that can be effectively presented within the parameters of the assignment. • It touches my life in a significant way and that I have a natural interest in. • It allows me to bring insight to the situation and enlighten others. • It has not been overly written about by countless other students. • It lends itself to questions
Selecting a topic is an important part of the research process; it can make all the difference in the quality of the paper you eventually write. In order to select an appropriate topic for a research course you should consider several factors. Sometimes you are free and you are allowed to select a topic which you are more familiar with it. In this case you can collect your data very easily because you are familiar with the sources, for example the books and papers which have some relevant material to your topic and you can also use your own knowledge. But sometimes topic is selected by the professor and you know very little about it. In this case you need more study and you should search more to find the best sources which can be useful. When you start working on your research you should consider some factors such as these: first, a good topic sentence should not be very broad; it means that it should not conclude different subjects, it is better that we talk about one or at most two comparable subject in one research. Although sometimes you must change your topic a lot in order to have a good topic sentence which is possible to search about it. Second, you should be interested in your own topic sentence more than the others, because having enthusiasm for doing a research makes it much more perfect and also during the process of searching instead of having hard time you can enjoy and have fun. Third, a good topic sentence should conclude a question. Because we should know exactly that what we are going to search about or what we are talking about so when the question is obvious, in the process of the research we try to find the best answer for it.

Selecting a topic is one of the most important and sometimes the most difficult part of the research process. A focused research topic helps us target the most relevant information for the research project. So I tried to consider my professor’s information about the assignment and after I understand them, I tried to select a topic that fits within the scope of my assignment. So I asked my professor if my topic is acceptable. A basic understanding of the topic will help us in the entire research and writing. My professor also emphasis on getting a good overview, by using a reference tool such as a specialized encyclopedia or internet, on the topic that we are considering. She also told us to Select a topic that is interesting to us and pick something that we are interested in so the research will become more enjoyable. Then I decided to check web sites. Several Web sites can help us locate a topic or identify a subtopic of interest. If we can't find an encyclopedia article on the topic, we should try using broader terms and ask for help from our professor. If we find too much information, our topic may be too broad. One way to narrow a broad topic such as "the environment" is to limit it. So we should be focused. A topic that is too broad will yield too much information, and a topic that is too narrow will yield too little. Then we should write a question about our topic. We should also consider avoiding questions that can be answered with yes or no to encourage exploration of a topic. The next step was to look for words that best describe my topic. We may need to modify our topic during the research process. The final step for me was to discuss my topic with my professor.
before I read in one book that in early age learning second language is easier than oldearly so,Idecided choose this subject for my research course.when I tried to find information about it. First of all I pick a subject that really I care about it and think about those ideas that come to my mind immediately ,consider as Brainstorm possible topic ideas, then I try to read article in encyclopedia or dictionaries in order to can support it. ensure that the topic is manageable and that material is available, make a list of key words, define your topic as a focused research question research and read more about your topic,
in selecting this text title to a narrow and specific topic, i reffered to my own interest and i noticed that there some similarities between the persian language and the english language. so it is not recommanded to go via contemporary materials and statements which are cramped with prejudice. so by a glance over the researches done on tablets in BOGAZKOY in turky that its soil is rich in riuns of civilizations, i convienced that BEDRICH HROZNY, university of vienna porofessor, has solved my question and curiosity about the originate of arians. his study focused on HITTITES, a forgotten civilization almost for 3000 years. so as you know this is not my the only concern. the factor i found interesting about it is the sentence below, written in a hittite language which is an indo-european language.
NU NINDA AN EZZATENI, WATAR MA EKUTE Since many Babylonian words were included in Hittite texts, the clue was provided by the Babylonian word ninda, which means "food" or "bread. Hrozný asked himself a very simple question: What does one do with food or bread? The answer, of course, was, one eats it. So the word ezzateni must be related to eating. Then the -an suffix on ninda must be a marker for a direct object in the Hittite language, added to the Babylonian word for "food" or "bread."Hrozný looked at both the vocabulary and the grammar of Indo-European languages. He noted that the verb to eat is similar to Hittite ezza- not only in English, but also in Greek (edein), Latin (edere) and German (essen), and especially in medieval German (ezzan). Suspecting strongly that the Hittite language was of Indo-European origin, Hrozný identified the suffix -an as the accusative-case marker still preserved in Greek as -n. If that was true, the second line of the inscription was not much of a problem, since it began with the word watar, which could easily be translated as English water or German Wasser. Hrozný proposed the reading of the whole sentence as NOW BREAD YOU EAT, THEN WATER YOU DRINK—and he turned out to be right. Hittite was an Indo-European language! so finding it that this indo-uropean language is our today language and the western language originate; i enthusiated that bible was wrong about the hittites language and their roots! so by the recent researches done in KERMAN, the story of geogarphy of civilization moves from the iraq to kerman and iran. we, persians, were the frist nation that presented a writting and tablets. i can cry confently that the bible`s stroies are a funny mistake that spoilded the mind of people about the history. so my research will focuos on persian languge and its link to european.
the first factor to select a topic is researcher's interest. it helps the reasearcher to have a motivation to search deeply and even find interesting results. another factor is the efect of topic on researcher, infact information which collect should be effective on researcher's progressing for academic purposes .
the first and the main factor of selecting a topic for me is my ability and experience. i prefer to choose a topic to research that i can work on it. a topic which a lot of information about that is available in different sources.
The most of my friends like me consider the area of their interest for selecting topic for research paper. But in my opinion besides the area of our interest we should consider some important points, our topic should have these characteristics :first it’s essential don’t pick the first idea that go in our head because we may select a topic that don’t motivate our interest in the long time, second The best topics are ones that we have read about it before and we knew the resource about it, because we will able to conduct our topic to conclusion and we can discuss about it at the end ,third it’s better don’t use familiar topics the new subject is more interesting for others who want to read it, the last point is very important our topics should lead the readers to other questions and can use for next researchers
I think the most important factor for selecting a topic is our personal interest it means that we must choose a topic that most of the time we think about it and we want to know more , detailed and complete information about it , this intense curiosity and interest help us to search for gaining information more patiently and better as result we can find better sources and information for our topic so when we have suitable information our research become more valid . also there is another important factor for selecting a topic; choosing a topic that is a daily problem or subject in society can make process of our research more easy because there are many sources and ideas about this topic and also such a topic makes our research paper interesting and attractive for readers .

first of all we chose our topic by looking to our interest.if someone doesn't like a topic he/she will face with a problem and that problem according to my idea is lack of interest and then you cannot enjoy it and you have less interest to follow and complete your research and spend few time on it.time is one of the most importantpart of our project.for example for this course our deadline to give our paper to Miss.Niami is until first of Khordad.how can we finish our paper dyring this time and we show lack of interest on it and pay less time on it,surely it won't complete. the second major reason that must be concern according to my idea is sourses.if a researcher wants to do a search and his field about his topic has few sources i am sure he won't be successed. the next one is our needs.if a researcher doesn't feel the needs of the society or in some levels lower, his needs.some times this factor makes a great sense of responsibility in a researcher to do his best. i think these are the most important factors that a person can concern for doing a research.
When a researcher wants to start searching and choosing topic, he or she should refer to his or her interest toward the topic. Then pay attention to the influence of research paper on readers. Also he should know how to examine the important issues, and make a serious purpose for that. I have read lots of magazines about the video or PC games and the parents anxiety about their children, so I decide to choose this topic for my research paper to help users be aware of the effect of this games on their children or themselves.
We are students of English literature so; some of my friends choose their subject based on it. I think them choose it because of their interest in it and also, it improves their knowledge about literature and it can help them in their field of study. Some of subjects are based on psychology for example one of them choose laugh and says that it cure sickness (it has psychological effect).I think different person have different ideas so they choose different subject. And these subjects will have good influence on human life and improve it. Today we have many theories that are based on research of human that lived before and they improve our life.
question 4 For doing a research paper we need to some information or knowledge in order to develop a meaningful answer to our general research question. Some of the sources that we use are books and articles & journals. Also it is very possible that we find materials on the internet and a source can be the person, organization, or commercial enterprise that makes certain information, or a particular text, available to the public. First I have much stress on starting of my research paper. My topic is “what is Affect of Motivation in Learning Second Language?” and I had some question about my topic and this questions were (What is motivation? what is affect of motivation in learning second language? who is good second language learners?). For reach to answer this question and in order to get such information, I doing a search in the internet search engine such as google and yahoo & AltaVista .Then I found some articles which are related to my topic in these sites. Now I read those data and gain some information and understand that why do people learn a second language? And also I understand definition of motivation and source of motivation & so on. In fact they were some positive guidelines for me. When I read this sources that I collect and also when I think about what the authors are saying , my research questions and very likely my working thesis had changed and with each shift in direction , new question , and possible even new areas of investigation , will open up. Also I ask of my around friend in university that what is their motivation in the learning second language? And certainly these questions and their answers of my friend could help to me in this topic. in this topic
I do agree with Mrs. Baniasadi, because I myself at first chose the topic on which I was more interested, but after a little studying I've considered that it was not a good one for me. That was too wide and so complex. To write about that topic more studying, more experience and more knowledge was needed. As a result I've changed my topic. It's better to choose the topic that we read about that before and we know the sources. Besides before fixing our topic and starting to research not only we should consider the time, but we should also ask our professors or the experts to see if there are enough sources available for that topic or no.

Selecting a topic can be the most difficult part of doing research. Defining the topic is an ongoing process.i prepared to change the focus of my topic as i gathered more information about linguistic and history. i over and over changed it. i picked a subject i really care about that. beacause i will be spending a considerable amount of time researching my topic, i will want it to be something that holds my interest. i found that my topic should not be too narrow and too broad. If the topic is too broad, you will be overwhelmed with information. If the topic is too narrow, you may not be able to find enough information for your research paper. then i changed the hittites topic and research. because there was not plenty of sources available. i decide to chose a topic that is interesting. so ( copmarison of persian and english literature) occupied my mind. i now i think i do not have more to say!

One of the most difficult tasks is finding a suitable subject for research. If your topic chooses with enough care it can be helpful. At first I think about my interesting subjects an at hand subjects that could be easier to search and are more interesting for me. In this way I am sure that I seek everywhere and read everything because of its interest. First step is thinking to find topic. And next one is discuss look at papers, magazines, journals or newspaper. Discuss with teachers and lecturer who are best helper and guider is best way. In these steps of course you find several topics and choose one of them, or even you change your topic or the subject. Some of this ways and this helper as magazines are not very scientific. Libraries are good places to search books and find scientific sources with scientific subjects. Sometimes I took a paper and start to write and I try writing without thinking or editing. In literature it named automatic writing. Some imagination and some inspiration are in free writing. It is helpful for me
when i was a student ;none of my english teacher didnot notice to listening of students.they did not practice on listening for help to their student in learning better.I think this factors are more interesting: -build their backgraund knowledge on subject befor listening -start listening without thinking about subject -have no specific purpose for listening and have not considered speakers purpose -do not focus attention
according my teacher help and also reading some main chapter of the book ,{Research Method in Applied Linguistics by Hossein Farhady} and also according to my previous lesson ,I mean Research1 ,I choose my topic. I just interested about Grammar for research. I was not sure about choosing linguistic or literature topics. However I choose my topic. then I search about it,I began to gathering information then I read data, and by help of the book and my teacher guide, I start to write.i think the main problem for learning second language is grammatical problem.i decided to read books and practices in my grammar .and improve my problem.

There were three ways for me to get a topic to research
In this case, i don't had to worry about selecting a topic; then my teacher gave me some guidelines for choosing the topic.
i had to do some reading on the general topic and got an overview.
After doing that, i wouldl be ready to focus my topic into a reasonable size that i can handle.
I had to first think that what is my interest and related to my course.
of course i found that linguistic and history are related to my research. so i chose my topic name after some revision and called it : liguistics or bible is righ؟
hittites arians or judes?
The last reason for selecting my topic was to considering two important factors:
First, how much do I have time for my study research?
Such as:
What do I want to understand better?

Writing Research Papers
Across the Curriculum
The first step to select my topic was to find something which I like to search and find.
I have studied in a book on research paper that “ the subject for a research paper must meet 3 demands :
1. It must examine a significant issue
2. It must address a knowledge reared and carry that reader to another plateau of knowledge
So I have decided to combine a topic of personal interest with some aspect of my academic studies.
acutally there are many factors to select a topic for a research,in my research my literary school lesson help me to choose a topic for my research course, eventhough i myself prefer to choose a free topic but because the limitaiton in our time a relative topic can be more interesting and helpful.
PART2
I choose my topic "The effect of crying on the body"because it is interestingfor me and many people.it has a serious purpose, one that demands analysis of the issues, argues from a position, and explain s complex details.
Therefore I chose a topic that has the characteristics that are mentioned below:
• It addresses my instructor's assignment.
I read one news about it in bbc ,it said learning second language boosts grey matter of mind and if age of learner when learn second language decreese develop of grey matter increase.so Idecided continue this subject and fin more information.
First of all I pick a subject that really I care about it and think about those ideas that come to my mind immediately ,consider as Brainstorm possible topic ideas, then I try to read article in encyclopedia or dictionaries in order to can support it. ensure that the topic is manageable and that material is available, make a list of key words, define your topic as a focused research question research and read more about your topic,
formulate a thesis statement
in selecting this text title to a narrow and specific topic, i reffered to my own interest and i noticed that there some similarities between the persian language and the english language. so it is not recommanded to go via contemporary materials and statements which are cramped with prejudice.
so by a glance over the researches done on tablets in BOGAZKOY in turky that its soil is rich in riuns of civilizations, i convienced that BEDRICH HROZNY, university of vienna porofessor, has solved my question and curiosity about the originate of arians. his study focused on HITTITES, a forgotten civilization almost for 3000 years. so as you know this is not my the only concern. the factor i found interesting about it is the sentence below, written in a hittite language which is an indo-european language.
NU NINDA AN EZZATENI, WATAR MA EKUTE
Since many Babylonian words were included in Hittite texts, the clue was provided by the Babylonian word ninda, which means "food" or "bread.
In the name of god
Today we have many theories that are based on research of human that lived before and they improve our life.
question 4
For doing a research paper we need to some
information or knowledge in order to develop a meaningful answer to our general research question.
It is helpful for me
when i was a student ;none of my english teacher didnot notice to listening of students.they did not practice on listening for help to their student in learning better.I think this factors are more interesting:
-build their backgraund knowledge on subject befor listening
-start listening without thinking about subject
-have no specific purpose for listening and have not considered speakers purpose
-do not focus attention
according my teacher help and also reading some main chapter of the
book ,{Research Method in Applied Linguistics by Hossein Farhady}
and also according to my previous lesson ,I mean Research1 ,I choose
my topic. I just interested about Grammar for research. I was not sure
about choosing linguistic or literature topics. However I choose my topic. then I search about it,I began to gathering information then I read data,
and by help of the book and my teacher guide, I start to write.i think the
main problem for learning second language is grammatical problem.i decided to read books and practices in my grammar .and improve my problem.
